Before You Begin:
- Log in to the Facebook account where your Business Portfolio is managed.
- Ensure you have the Manage WhatsApp account permission. (Account owners have this permission by default.)

Steps:
- In Business Manager, go to the Overview page.
- Find the account that you want to add the credit card to and click the 3-dot icon.
- Click Manage account settings.
- In the Settings tab, click Payment settings.
- In the Payment settings page of Billing & payments, click Add payment method.
- Follow the instructions to add your payment information and click Next.
- Add your card details and click Save.
- Follow the instructions to add your business information and click Save.
- Click the he 3-dot icon to set up that payment method as “default payment”
The credit card is added to your WhatsApp Business Platform account. You can view the added credit card in the Settings tab.
Additional Information:
The charges related to WhatsApp are separate from your Visito subscription. Meta applies a minimal fee for using the WhatsApp API, which is processed externally and is not included in your Visito billing.
When is this charge necessary?
- If you take more than 24 hours to manually respond to customers, you must use the "New Conversation" feature to reply, which incurs a charge from Meta for the service utility.
- For hotels with PMS integration, enabling the “event” outbound WhatsApp messages, it requires activating this external Meta payment, which falls under the marketing service category.
